Community Translation Fishery Officer

Phal came to HT as an intern, studying the organization’s Fish Pond Project after having completed a major in Animal Husbandry and Fisheries at Kampong Cheu Teal Technical School. Quickly becoming a vital member of staff, he became HT’s Fisheries Officer in 2010. Beginning by assisting in the construction of local fish ponds and the education of community members in better fisheries techniques, he currently is working with locals to manage the 44 community fish ponds in Ballangk.
